Check out the Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club’s Mustang raffle

The Rotary Club of Bailey’s Crossroads is bringing a classic Mustang convertible to the Taste of Annandale.

The club is raffling off the car – a fully restored 1966 black Mustang with a red racing stripe – to raise funds for its charitable projects.

You can purchase raffle tickets at the Taste of Annandale or online.

Raffle tickets are $25 apiece or five for $100. The winning tickets will be drawn on Nov. 11 at American Legion Post 176 in Springfield. You do not need to be present to win.

The first-prize winner can choose either the car or a cash prize of $20,000. The second and third-place winners each get $500.

Here are a few more details about the Mustang: 289-cubic-inch engine, chrome engine dress-up kit, automatic transmission, power steering, power front disk brakes, black power top, black exterior, black vinyl interior, steel wheels, and dual trumpet exhaust.

The Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club has been raffling off a classic Mustang for the past 37 years, for a profit of $2.65 million.

Those funds have been used to provide meals for students and their families, backpacks and school supplies, new equipment for the Bailey’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department, and holiday toys and pajamas for children.
