Annandale Today seeks volunteers

There are lots of volunteer opportunities at the Taste of Annandale, a big community festival on Sept. 20 at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space at 7200 Columbia Pike.

Annandale Today needs people to sit at our vendor booth and greet the public. Sign up here.

All you need to do is hand out postcards and other material. Instructions will be sent to people who sign up.

The Taste of Annandale also needs dozens of people to help out at the event. Register for a shift here.

Volunteers are especially needed to ensure the Taste of Annandale 5K is a success. The race is entirely at Mason District Park this year, starting at 9:30 a.m. We need people to register runners and help navigate the trails through the park.

We also need volunteers to help the vendors set up, oversee parking, assist with the entertainment, children’s program, parking, and whatever else is needed. There will be a check-in table for volunteers next to the stage.

Students who volunteer can get credit for community service hours. The minimum age is 14.

We need your help to make the sure the 2025 Taste runs smoothly and is fun for everyone!
