The Taste of Annandale 5K in Mason District Park on Sept. 20 drew 108 participants. The 5K was sponsored by RAMP Performance & Wellness, a personal training center in Annandale.
Patrick Deans, age 39, of Annandale, was the overall winner with a clock time of 19 minutes and 47.76 seconds.
Ethan Borja, a 14-year-old from Annandale, came in second with a time of 21:15.43.
The third-place winner and fastest female was Hannah Safford, 34, of Arlington. Her time was 21:45.89.
Dawn Boulter was the second-fastest female, and Faith McGuirt of Annandale came in third among female runners. Rounding out the top 10: Bryan Song of Fairfax (overall fourth-place winner, David Buntua, T. Boulter, A. Elmamouni, Brian Green, Will Cruz, and Son Tran. See the results here.
Following the race, medals were presented to the top three male and female runners, as well as the winners in each age category.

Trainers from RAMP led warmups before the race and handed out Taste of Annandale 5K T-shirts to all participants.
Representatives from the Jacksons Clinics facility in Burke, one of RAMP’s partners, helped the runners cool down after the race.
