The ACCA Child Development Center, at 7200 Columbia Pike, hosted the children’s program at the Taste of Annandale.
Popular characters from “Bluey” and “Paw Patrol” delighted the young children, as well as percussionist and storyteller Kofi Dennis, a master teaching artist with the Wolf Trap Institute for Learning through the Arts.
CDC Executive Director Maria-Isabel Ballivian also organized a series of STEAM activities, including a wind tunnel, electric slime, microscope exploration, gold digging, archeological digs, crafts, a raffle and provided a free lunch for children and their families.
