Enter your pet in the Taste of Annandale Pet contest and find out. Your furry fashionista could become Chico’s Next Top Model.
The pet contest will be once again hosted by Chico’s Natural Pet Market, the pet store at Barcroft Plaza. It is tentatively set for 1 p.m., but the schedule hasn’t been finalized.
The contest will be a bit different this year. The owners of all contestants will be required to register in advance and bring their dog (or cat or any other pet) to Chico’s, at 6349A Columbia Pike, to select a free pet costume and have a fitting. You and your pet can select an outfit to keep from the shop’s large selection and customize, style, and accessorize any way you like. Be creative!
At the Taste of Annandale, bring your dressed-up pet to Chico’s table where a panel of professional judges will select the first, second, and third-place winners.
All the contestants will show off their stuff on the catwalk (the Taste of Annandale stage), where the audience will have a chance to vote for their favorite. That’s why it’s important to bring all your friends so they can vote for your pet.
All the winners will receive really nice prizes from Chico’s, and all the contestants will receive gift bags.
After the Taste of Annandale, the three top winners and the audience favorite will be invited to Chico’s for a free photo shoot and will have a chance to compete to be Chico’s Next Top Model.
The four winning pets will be featured on social media. The pet that attracts the most likes will become Chico’s Next Top Model. The Top Model pet will be featured on Chico’s website and will receive three month’s supply of their favorite food.
