Meadows Farms in Seven Corners is donating a fall-themed backdrop for photos to the Taste of Annandale next Saturday, Sept. 20.
Meadows Farms, at 6461 Arlington Blvd., offers trees, shrubs, flowers, house plants, soil, mulch, fertilizer, gardening tools, and landscaping services, says manager Jaime Poveromo.
They also have a section with native perennials and another with deer-resistant plants.
This time of year, the big sellers are fall-blooming flowers, like pansies and mums, Poveromo says.

Meadows Farms is gearing up for its annual fall festival – to continue to Oct. 31 – with pumpkins, gourds, and kids’ activities. A moon bounce is already set up.
Meadows Farms is open 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sundays. The nursery has several other locations in the region, including Backlick Road in Annandale.
Since Meadows Farms opened in Seven Corners nearly 60 years ago, the area has become more urbanized. Poveromo says the company has no plans to sell, despite getting lots of offers from developers.
