Planning for the fifth annual Taste of Annandale, scheduled for Oct. 5, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Tom Davis Drive, is well under way.
The Taste of Annandale has gotten bigger and better every year, and this one, promises to be the biggest one yet.
More than 5,000 people attended the Taste of Annandale last year. It was so crowded, in fact, that we’re working on a plan to provide more space.
There will be live entertainment all day, a 5K race, restaurants, food trucks, special performances for children, a beer garden, chili cook-off, a best-dressed pet contest, and vendors.
Anyone interested in participating in the 2019 Taste of Annandale – as a sponsor, food vendor, other vendor, or entertainer – should contact Bob Kahane, chair of the Taste of Annandale Planning Committee, at bkahane@cox.net.
Just Neighbors, an organization based in Annandale that provides legal services to immigrants, has already signed on as a Silver Sponsor.
For local business owners and organizations, becoming a sponsor of the Taste of Annandale is a great way to attract new customers and enhance your reputation as a leader in the community.
There are three levels of sponsorships: Platinum, Gold, and Silver.
Platinum Sponsors will have their company’s name and logo on all marketing materials, banners, signs, and posters; will have a 20 by 10-foot booth with table, chairs, and tent during the festival, a chance to make a presentation on the stage, and much more.
The application deadline for sponsors is Aug. 16, but the sooner you sign up, the more opportunities you’ll have to be included on all the promotional materials. Visit the sponsorship page for more information.
No more than two Platinum and 25 Gold sponsors will be approved. These sponsors will receive the best locations at the festival.
