Registration is open for the fifth annual Taste of Annandale 5K race on Oct. 5. In fact, nine people have already registered. Sign up here.
The race will start at 9:30 a.m. in the Kmart parking lot on John Marr Drive. The course will be virtually the same as last year. Runners will head down Columbia Park, go through the trails in Mason District Park, and return to the Kmart parking lot.
There will be awards for the top three males and females overall and for the fastest runners in several age categories. The awards will be presented on the stage at the Taste of Annandale.
Registration for the 5K is $25 ($15 for runners 14 and younger) and will increase after Sept. 15.
