The Taste of Annandale will have some sweet treats on hand.
The Sweet Frog truck will offer six ice cream flavors, about 30 toppings, non-dairy sorbet, and frozen yogurt.
Franchise owners Kimberly Douglas and Jennifer Roseboro bring their Sweet Frog truck to community festivals, birthday parties, universities, schools, and church events.
“We go pretty much all over the place,” says Douglas, who left a 16 and a-half-year career with the Metro Transit Police Department in March 2022.
This is their fourth season with the Sweet Frog truck. Since ice cream is most popular in the warmer months, they operate the truck from April to the end of October.
“We’re extremely excited to be part of the Taste of Annandale,” Douglas says.
